NPMU’s field visit to Similipal landscape, Mayurbhanj, Odisha

Dr Konda Reddy Chavva, Officer-In-Charge, FAO Representation in India and Mr. R. B Sinha, Project Director, Green-Ag project, India along with Shri B. S. Kalo, Project Director, Watershed cum District Project Nodal officer, and SPMU and GLIU team visited four villages, namely, Batpalsa, Kasipal, Dangarsahi, and Badsole of the landscape to review the preparedness for the field activities to be initiated from the rabi season. During the visit the team interacted with various farmers, members of Self-help Groups, Farmer Producer Groups, Panchayat members etc.
The FAO team also met the District Collector cum Chairman, Technical Support Group to apprise him about the field implementation of the project and sought his guidance and support. The FAO team requested the District Collector to review the project implementation on a regular basis so that field implementation progresses as planned. The Collector, Mayurbhanj assured his full support to the project.
